Your account
You sign in to Marc1 Model Studio with an email one-time code, Google, GitHub or Apple. Supabase Auth handles sign-in for us.
We store your email address and your sign-in provider’s account id.
Your workspace data
The hosted web app stores workspace data in our Supabase project. This includes uploaded or imported datasets, settings, training history and progress, evaluation results, and saved chats.
The hosted web app has a default limit of 1 GiB of workspace files per account. Uploaded model files have a separate limit of 512 MiB per account.
The desktop app stores workspace files on your computer. A standalone server stores workspace files on its own disk. Desktop training activity, including run settings, status, metrics and filtered logs, is also sent to Supabase. Activity reporting does not send dataset files or model weights.
GPUs and your data
The hosted web app uses RunPod for cloud training and inference. You can use your own RunPod account, or Managed Cloud, where Marc1 rents GPUs for you. An assigned connected device can also serve chat and a free shared-model link.
The desktop app can also run locally on your Mac or use configured RunPod, Modal, AWS or SSH workers. Datasets, prompts and model files are sent to the selected worker when the task needs them.
If you use your own RunPod account, we store your RunPod API key encrypted.
Trained models
Model files can be stored on your computer, a worker, or provider storage. Deleting a GPU can remove files on that instance. Downloaded copies and persistent volumes can remain. Save any model you want to keep before you remove its storage.
Marc1 schedules Managed Cloud GPU deletion at the deadline set by your budget, capped at 24 hours. Provider or cleanup failures can delay deletion. Your charge remains limited to the approved budget.
Payments
Stripe processes payments for Managed Cloud credit. Marc1 does not store card numbers.
If a model’s owner sells request packs, those payments go through the owner’s own Stripe account.
Website analytics and earlier inquiries
The Marc1 website uses Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views and clicks on the Open Studio and Sign in links. It does not set cookies.
The website no longer offers program application or supplier inquiry pages. Earlier submissions remain in private website database tables. These records include submitted contact details, consent records and an IP address hash used to limit repeated submissions.
How long we keep data
The service does not currently delete workspace files or shared chats automatically because of account inactivity. You can remove supported workspace items in Studio. Contact support to request account and data deletion.
Deletion and contact
